Musings on Jewelry
While many poor souls around this land are taking the bar examination, I am searching for fabulous new jewelry designers. Not one moment has gone by when I have regretted my decision to give up the practice of law for jewelry and specialty wood products. (For those of you who don't know, I also work with my family's specialty wood products company, previously know as NDC Timber, Inc. and soon to be known as Carter Evans Wood Concepts. Check us out on Facebook under NDC Timber.)
One of my favorite things is discovering new sources for wonderful jewelry! I found a great supply of things from a company in Thailand the other day. Well priced, high quality, and fabulously designed.
And recently, a friend of mine from Missoula, Lori Grannis, turned me on to Nan Fusco of Laguna Beach, California. I immediately liked her pieces, but after spending a little more time checking things out, I realized how exceptional her stuff was! Every necklace is really a bunch of necklaces and bracelets rolled into one, because they are convertible. Her pieces are not inexpensive, but with the combination of quality and versatility, I think they fit the vision here at Bon Lemon. Stylish and savvy.
Here is one of our favorites. We hope to have some of her things in for the August trunk show at Spruce.
