I think some of the best fashion designers come from other industries. Ilaria Pavone, an industrial and interior designer by training, is no exception. Her Comme L'oiseau handbag line is lust worthy. I will own one. Soon. A little more info on the collection.
"The collection comme l'oiseau started in 2009. The name was inspired by a line of the poet Paul Valery "Il faut etre léger comme l'oiseau, et non comme la plume." Ilaria's idea of a perfect bag? A bag that can be other bags at the same time. In fact, you can choose a handle - in dark, light leather or transparent PVC - and a central part which represents the bag. You can choose also for this part between different materials, colors and patterns. Some are double-faced which means that turning them around you'll have a new bag ready for new stylings.
