It is a gorgeous Sweet Saturday in Olympia, Washington.  Hope you are enjoying some sunshine wherever you are!  The winner of last week's Sweet Saturday is Ericka B.  We will be donating $50 to the charity of Ericka's choice.  Thanks for recognizing gratitude with us last week.

Introducing Nora Catherine

I first heard about Nora Catherine jewelry after my mom returned from Eugene, Oregon with a new pair of her earrings. When your daughter owns a jewelry shoppe, something has to be pretty fabulous to warrant purchasing it from the competition. And these earrings were just that! 4th of July Road Trip

We are on a 4th of July Road Trip. First stop: the farm. Second stop: the lake. Woo hoo! (And I have my trusty wireless port, so I can work on Bon Lemon all the way along.) This is my traveling companion M2. (M1 is at basketball camp.) M2 and I are having fun plotting pranks to play on 6 Par Farmer. Insert mischievous laugh.



6 Par Farmer is our trusty driver. (Because he is so camera shy, we had to tickle him to make him smile for the picture.)



And this is me. A Grayling necklace and earrings are appropriate farm attire, right? The day wouldn't be the same without a little Bon Lemon. Even if I am dressing up for the wheat and the ranch dogs.

Tennis Skirts

I have been wanting to learn how to play tennis for awhile now. The combination of hitting a ball hard (It takes me back to my fastpitch days.), the ability to compete as an adult (I am a touch competitive.), and cute outfits (um, yeah duh.) sold me on the sport ages ago. But with all that has been going on at Bon Lemon, it took awhile before I found the time to take lessons.



I am happy to report, I am currently on lesson number three! More importantly, this means I can now justify buying tennis outfits. Yippee! Nike tennis stuff is cute, but I like to support other small businesses, so I went looking for some unique stuff on the web. Tennis garb seems to fall into two categories: Steffi Graf circa 1988 or Venus and Serena circa now. I wanted to fall into the latter. And lucky for me, I stumbled upon a company called Volleygirl. They have the cutest tennis skirts in fashion forward prints. And my favorite feature: a little "poof" of mesh at the bottom.



I received a grape "poof" tennis skirt today and it is way fun. I think I might need all of their summer prints. The giraffe is so adorable! The pictures on Volleygirl's website are a little hard to see, but I can vouch for these skirts. They are super cute and fit well. (Order a size down if you are in between.)



I might not be able to serve (yet), but at least I will be looking sassy on the court thanks to volleygirl.net.

Trunk Show Road Trip

We are taking Bon Lemon on the road. After our warm response in the Pacific Northwest, we are taking our trunk shows to Arizona and California. Watch out world! We have tons of new merchandise we are super excited to show off. Grayling jewelry (love), scarves, earrings, Pretty Little Lion hairbows, bracelets, and more! Yippee!
